Four Kansas Lottery players are beating the winter blues by winning thousands in “Winter Ca$h!” The lucky winners were drawn in four Winter Ca$h second-chance drawings. Here are the winners and the prizes they have won:

· Nancy Wright of Ellis – $10,000

· Shawn Schuman of Salina – $5,000

· Bethany Halstead of Leavenworth – $1,000

Entries for the Winter Ca$h promotion were $1, $2, $5 and $10 Winter Ca$h instant scratch tickets. Four second-chance drawings were held, one for each of the four prize points. The higher the price of the ticket, the more money players had a chance to win. There was a combined total of 3,138,551 entries in the promotion.
