A woman’s pickup was broken into while she took a walk through Lakewood Park. Police say Karen Henderson heard squealing tires near the location where her vehicle was parked. When she neared her truck she saw the driver’s window broken out and discovered her purse and contents were gone. Loss and damage is $815.

A teen is in juvenile detention after officers arrested him on vehicle burglary charges. Police say 16-year-old Jeremiah Hadnot entered four vehicles parked in the 600 and 700 block of Highland just after noon on Friday. A concerned neighbor saw the teen looking through cars and called police. A cell phone plug and charging cable were taken from one car.

Video games and a PlayStation console were stolen from a home at 610 Jameson. Police say a push mower and camcorder was also taken sometime between May 14th and 19th. Loss is listed at $1,260.

Police report a black, 5-foot by 10-foot trailer with ramps was stolen from a parking lot at 406 S. Ohio, sometime Friday between 10am and Noon. The trailer is valued at $1,000.
