Salina Police are investigating a couple of construction site burglaries at two schools. DeVader Concrete of Maple Hills, Kansas contacted police after discovering that someone had broken into a storage trailer parked at Sunset Elementary School, 1510 W. Republic during the overnight hours from Monday to Tuesday.
Police say a power saw was stolen.
Loss and damage is listed at $810.
A construction trailer parked at Salina Central High School,650 E. Crawford, was also broken into sometime between 4:30pm Tuesday and 5:30am Wednesday.
Police say a laptop computer and tablet computer were stolen.
As of Wednesday at 10am, officers were still processing the scene and did not list the dollar amount in tools taken.
