A two vehicle crash sends one person to Salina Regional Health Center for treatment.
Saline County Undersheriff Roger Soldan reports that 19-year-old Paige Sharp was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla westbound on Water Well Road Tuesday at about 2:15pm and failed to stop at the Burma Road intersection.
He car struck the back end of a northbound truck pulling a trailer.
Deputies say the collision sent the trailer into a ditch and the 1995 Ford F350 , driven by 67-year-old Mario Martinez of Assaria onto its top.
Sharp complained of pain in one of her hands and was transported to the hospital.
Her passenger, 25-year-old Braelen Maupin of Hutchinson was not hurt.
Martinez’s son, 22-year-old Adrian Martinez of Salina was a passenger in the truck and was not injured.
Soldan says all four people involved in the wreck were wearing seat belts and that airbags deployed.
