A candidate for governor is picking up an endorsement from a legislative leader.

Kansas Senate President Susan Wagle announced yesterday she will endorse Secretary of State Kris Kobach ahead of the August 7th primary. Kobach is seeking the Republican nomination for governor.

Senate Vice President Jeff Longbine announced his endorsement of incumbent Governor Jeff Colyer last month.
