The impeachment trial of President Trump is over after the Senate acquitted him of abuse of power and obstruction of congress charges.

Kansas senators Jerry Moran and Pat Roberts went along with their fellow Republicans and voted not guilty on both charges yesterday.

Moran noted that Trump’s actions were not high crimes and misdemeanors.

Roberts tweeted that it is time for Congress to return to the important work for the people.
