Gunshots are fired in a Salina neighborhood Sunday evening.

Police officers responded to the report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Johnstown at about 7:40pm.

Police say 4 shell casings ejected from a high powered automatic handgun were found on the pavement in front of a house at 1109 Johnstown.

Witnesses told officers they saw a white or silver 4-door Cadillac driving nearby and a black male in a white T-shirt running from the area.

Police found no damage to homes or vehicles and no injuries were reported.
