Most state employees in Kansas are in for a pay raise in the new state budget.

Lawmakers in Topeka yesterday approved the seven billion-dollar plan which will spend about 400 million-dollars more than the current budget. Much of the money will go to cover a five percent pay raise for state workers.

Anyone who did not get a raise in last year’s pay adjustment law, will see a pay bump in the new budget.
