Police make an arrest after a property owner finds his chain link fence sold for scrap.

Police say Orville Crowder of Salina saw a couple of men removing a roll of chain link fencing from a property he owns in the 300 block of N. 7th.

The man told officers he saw them leaving in an SUV.

Later he found his fencing at a local scrap dealer and contacted police.

An investigation led to the arrest of 54-year-old Wayne Massey of Salina.

Police say more arrests are possible in the case.
