A student is under arrest in connection with a school threat in Garden City.

Police say a school resource officer was notified Monday about a possible threat at Kenneth Henderson Middle School.

The 14-year-old student allegedly tried to strike an officer before being taken into custody.

The student was booked for aggravated criminal threat, assault of a law enforcement officer and interference with law enforcement.
