Salina Police are looking for a known suspect who strangled a woman and threatened to kill her during a domestic dispute.

Captain Mike Sweeney tells KSAL News that the woman who is in her 30’s ran to a neighbors home for help after the suspect left.

Police say the incident began in an east Salina home on Wednesday evening around 9:45pm when the man punched and kicked the woman, strangled her and at one point forced her into a bathroom and threatened to kill her.

The woman was treated at the hospital for bruises and scratches.
