Three people are hurt in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 near Salina.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 26-year-old Jordanne Lemuz of Salina was driving a 2003 Toyota Sequoia, As she merged from northbound Interstate 135 onto westbound Interstate 70 she lost control. The SUV slid into a guardrail.
Lemuz was hurt, as were two passengers. They are 22-year-old Taylor Thorne and 13-year-old Madison Talber, both from Larned. All three were transported to the hospital in Salina, one by ambulance and two by private vehicle.
Troopers say that Lemuz and Talber were buckled up. Thorne was not.
The crash happened Saturday evening at 6:28 at the I 135 / I 70 Junction north of Salina.
