Over 300 gallons of fuel is siphoned from two area trucks.
The Saline County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of 360 gallons of diesel fuel from two semi trucks that were parked on a lot at 1265 W. Diamond Drive.
Gary Johnson Trucking, told deputies that 260-gallons of fuel worth $1006 was siphoned off an ’85 Peterbilt truck sometime between 5:30pm on July 23rd and 6:30am July 24th.
Also during that time frame 100-gallons of diesel fuel was also removed from 2005 International truck on the lot.
Total loss is listed at $1393.
