Parents and children gathered on the street to watch the floats, firetrucks, dancers and horses go by.
Yellow caution tape marked off Santa Fe in downtown Salina for the Tri-Rivers Fair parade Tuesday night.
“We come out every year to the parade,” Jessica Urbanek said, surrounded by her children. “The kids love the horses and the candy.”
The fair festivities start up Wednesday morning with events at the 4-H building and last till Aug. 11 with the demolition derby.
