Firefighters from Mcpherson County Fire District #2 responded to a grass fire Monday that may have been sparked by a man hooking up a trailer in Falun.
Captain Roger Soldan with the Saline County’s Sheriff’s Office tells KSAL News that Scott Miller was hooking up a trailer in an open field at 200 North Mound when the grass caught fire at about 6:20pm.
Two vehicles were burned, a 1997 Ford F150 is listed as a total loss.
A 1977 Chevy C-10 had minor damage.
The fire was contained to the 15-acre property and crews cleared the the scene at 9:26pm Monday evening.
