No one was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash Friday afternoon that left a small pickup truck on its side in a Central Salina neighborhood.
Salina Master Patrol Officer Rande Repp told KSAL News at the scene that the truck rolled when it collied with a small passenger car at the intersection of College and Morrison Streets.
According to Repp, a gray car driven by 69-year-old Royce Struble of TescottĀ was headed west on Morrison. The car collided with a small red pickup truck driven by 80-year-old James Jarvis of Salina. The truck was knocked onto its side.
Firefighters extricated Jarvis from the truck, but neither he nor a passenger in the truck were seriously hurt. Struble also was not hurt.
Repp said that he anticipated that Struble would be cited for failure to yield at a stop sign.
The crash happened at around 3:00 Friday afternoon.
