Former President Donald Trump is filing paperwork to get on the Presidential  Primary ballot in Kansas.

The Kansas Republican Party announced that Trump filed the paperwork yesterday, and Kansas is the first state in which the former president has filed paperwork in advance of the 2024 election.

Kansas last held a Presidential Primary in 1996.
