Two people from Mississippi are hurt in a single vehicle crash along Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County Saturday afternoon.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 42-year-old Louise Baker was driving a car headed west. The rear passenger tire blew and she lost control. The car rolled one time and came to rest in the median, on its wheels.
Baker and a passenger, 50-year-old Corbett Baker, were hurt. Both were transported to the hospital in Ellsworth.
Troopers say that both were buckled up.
The crash happened at 2:50 Saturday afternoon nine miles west of the Ellsworth exit on Interstate 70.
