A vandalized Wichita water park is planning to reopen.

Splash Aqua Park I-C-T will reopen on Friday, just days after vandals struck the inflatables at the park causing more than 100-thousand-dollars in damage. Wichita police continue to investigate last weekend’s vandalism incident.

A popular south Wichita water park is forced to close.

Vandals struck Splash Aqua Park this past weekend and cut open the large inflatables causing between 60-thousand and 75-thousand dollars in damage.

The park has been vandalized twice over the past month, and the incidents are under investigation.
