Salina Police Officer Michael “Austin” Baker is rarely seen without his partner. His partner is a police dog named Karma.

Baker and Karma have been together for two years. During that time they have made multiple arrests, discovered illegal drugs and guns, and tracked fugitives on the run.

Baker is also a member of the SWAT team, and was recognized recently as one of two of the Salina Police Department’s “Officers of the Year”.

Baker sat down with Rocking M Media News Director Todd Pittenger for a segment of the “Your City in Action” program at the Salina Media Connection television studios.
