A canoe and kayak are reported stolen.

According to Saline County Undersheriff Dave Dunstan, a silver aluminum canoe and Blue Pelican brand Kayak were taken from the Smoky Hill River channel in the 1800 block of E. Cloud.

The owner, Justin Baird contacted the Sheriff’s Office this week after checking with relatives to make sure that someone did not borrow the watercraft.

Deputies say the canoe and kayak were stolen sometime between June 7th and 9th.

Total loss is listed at $600.
