West Nile Virus cases are being confirmed in horses around Kansas.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture say cases were reported in horses in Douglas, Butler, Barber and Pratt counties over the past few weeks.

Officials say all of the cases were in unvaccinated horses or horses with an unknown vaccination history.
