The city of Wichita is investing in a Holocaust memorial.

City Council members voted this week to approve funds to add a Holocaust memorial adjacent to Veterans Memorial Park.

Officials say the memorial will educate residents about the history of World War Two, the Holocaust and the Kansas Liberators.
