Police are looking for a woman who left behind a counterfeit $100 bill at a convenience store counter on Tuesday afternoon.
Police say a suspect described as a black woman with blonde hair wearing a bright pink shirt, attempted to buy cigarettes and some other small items at the Kwik Shop at 1600 S. 9th at about 5:30pm.
The woman fled the store after the clerk confronted her about the bill she was trying to use for the purchase and drove away in a gray colored Mitsubishi automobile with Illinois license plates.
Police confiscated the counterfeit $100 bill.
